Berlin-based txtr was founded in 2008 and is building tools and services for digital reading. txtr cooperates with publishers and operators worldwide to provide comprehensive access to digital books, newspapers, magazines and other documents. txtr’s vision is to extend the ways in which people are using electronic content.

At txtr we do not believe digital text is the end of the book, but rather a new beginning. We believe in a world of expansive reading opportunities through digital access to the written word. This new world of digital reading needs to be shaped by people who love books.
